Using television series to teach comparative and European politics

Abstract Despite increasing access to high quality television (TV) series in the golden age of television, political scientists (and especially scholars comparative politics) have not systematically considered possibilities that might offer for instruction. This article aims fill this gap by illustrating opportunities teaching science using TV and outlining ways integrating into classroom selected clips, screening full episodes, or an entire as a text. We then illustrate these methods discussing be used typical introductory course on European politics.
